Getting started with SQL Server 2016

In my point of view it’s always important to learn the setup process of the environment so I am going to say it step by step so that you can get it easily so let’s start.
For the installation process of SQL server 2016 you have to go to the set up folder of SQL server then just double click on the setup.exe file. After double click you will find the SQL server installation center window then just go for the installation by clicking on the installation section. There you will find new SQL server stand alone installation or add features to an existing installation go for that.
Then you will get the product key window which verifies the free edition of developer, so just click the next button. After that just verify the license terms and condition and click to the next button. Then you will find the Microsoft update window just click to the next button. After that you will get the product update window you have to just click on the next button. By doing this install rules window will open just verify that and install rules then go for the next button.
The feature selection window will open and you have to select the list features to install it on your system then go for next button. Then you will get instance configuration window just go for the default instant check box then go for next button. Then you will get the server configuration window there you can get the chance to change the account name for the services like
- SQL server Agent-Domain\System
- SQL Server Database Engine-Domain\system
- SQL server analysis services – Domain\system
- SQL Server Reporting Service-Domain\system
Then go for the next button. After that you will find the database engine configuration window will open in that section just choose the mixed mode button then you have to type password for confirmation then just click on next button. After that on analysis service configuration just select the multidimensional and data mining mode and go for next button. Then you have to work on reporting services configuration in that section just click on install and configure radio button and then go for the next button. Then ready to install option will show and the installation process will start after that just verifies the setup operation and restart your system.
